Economic Survey 2024: The central government is going to present its budget today i.e. on Tuesday (23 July). Before this, the government has presented the Economic Survey, in which information has been given about Artificial Intelligence. Along with this, it has also been told what impact it can have on employment.
While presenting the Economic Survey in the Lok Sabha, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman mentioned AI and said that it will emerge as a big challenge for jobs and there may be job uncertainty at the skill level.
There will be a bad effect on employment
According to the Economic Survey, productivity is going to increase due to AI but it can also have a negative impact on employment. Along with this, there is going to be a big change in the way of working in the future due to AI. This is set to bring a big change in the global economy.
This survey says that India will not remain untouched by this change. As soon as it is recognized as a technology for general purpose, it will be accepted quickly.
Budget to be presented today
It is known that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget today i.e. on 23 July at 11 am. The monsoon session of Parliament has started on 22 July which is going to continue till 12 August. This is the Prime Minister’s budget. Narendra Modi This will be the first budget of the third term of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) under the leadership of PM Modi and the seventh consecutive budget of Finance Minister Sitharaman.
